Dr. Michael
J. Minot is a technical leader, consultant and educator
and is President and founder of MinoTech Engineering. He has
a strong record of achievement in all facets of technical
and business development and commercialization including technology
assessment, R&D, product and process development, as well
as manufacturing and engineering operations. Dr. Minot has
extensive technical and general management consulting experience,
including over 20 years of progressively higher management
experience spanning Fortune 500 and venture financed startup
Companies. Before launching MinoTech Engineering, Dr. Minot
served in senior executive capacities, including Vice President
of R&D, Vice President Manufacturing, and Vice President
Manufacturing Engineering with a number of cutting edge technology
based startups. Previously Dr. Minot spent 15 years with Corning
Glass Works in a variety of senior positions in Manufacturing,
Engineering and Research & Development including the scale-up
of fiber optics manufacturing. Dr. Minot received a Ph.D.
in Chemistry and Material Science from the Johns Hopkins University.
